Which tests may be recommended?

We frequently recommend the assessing stress response by testing adrenal and sex hormones. Because stress often has a direct impact on nutrient status, hormone balance and gut function, we may also consider a nutritional and metabolic profile, sex hormone, and comprehensive stool tests.

How long until I start to feel better?

This is very individual but we recommend a minimum commitment of 3-6 months to experience benefits. For individuals with complex chronic conditions or those who have not been sleeping well for some time (i.e. have a disrupted circadian rhythm), please expect to make a commitment of 3-12 months.

Most individuals will have likely been pushing through extended periods of chronic stress for years, sometimes decades – and so it would only make sense to expect to be patient and give your body the time it deserves to get well again for the long run.
